Our vision
Social, without the tricks.
A short letter about why we're building Vise โ and who we want it to be for: you.
-
The internet used to feel like a place
Remember when your page felt like your room? When you found strange, wonderful things made by real people โ a band from the next town, a blog from the other side of the world? Somewhere along the way, feeds got louder and emptier: more bots, more outrage, more scrolling that leaves you feeling worse. We kept scrolling. We enjoyed it less.
-
So we're building the network we want to use
Fun, fast and full of life: photos, music, videos, events, groups, a page that is truly yours. A feed that surprises you โ and then lets you go. No slot machine, no streaks, no "you missed this" guilt. We'd rather you spend ten good minutes here than thirty numb ones.
-
Nothing hidden
You can see why every post is in your feed and what Vise thinks you like โ and change it. If your reach is ever limited, you see it, with the reason and a way to appeal. No secret shadowbans. And a small share of your feed always comes from outside your bubble, clearly marked, because the world is bigger than our habits.
-
Private stays private
We never read, scan or learn from your private messages. Ever. Nobody can pay to target you: everyone sees the same post. And you can leave any time and take everything with you.
-
The people who create deserve a share
There are no ads in the beta. When ads come, half of the income your content brings in goes to you โ from the first view, without thresholds. A band with a few thousand loyal listeners should be able to earn something, not just the stars.
-
A place with values
Free speech, yes โ disagreement, satire, unpopular opinions. Hate, extremism and dehumanisation, no. Bodies without double standards, labelled so everyone decides what they see. Real people instead of bots. And young people protected, without being lectured.
-
Made in Europe, for the world
Vise speaks more than one language and shows you more than one country. Your corner of the world matters โ and every other corner is one tap away.
Vise is young, and we're building it together with you. We read every bug report, every idea and every message to @vise ourselves. If something feels wrong, tell us โ and if something feels right, tell a friend.
Thank you for being here.
