Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE / CSAM)
Effective: 2026-11-04. Binding standards for the Vise platform and mobile apps.
Zero-Tolerance Policy
Vise maintains a strict, unconditional zero-tolerance policy toward any form of Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). The safety, dignity, and protection of children and minors are of utmost priority across all parts of our platform.
1. Scope and Prohibited Content
The following content and behaviors are strictly forbidden on Vise under all circumstances ā across public feeds, comments, profiles, uploaded media, and private direct messaging:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any visual, auditory, or textual depiction or discussion depicting or promoting the sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of a minor. This prohibition includes real images and videos, photorealistic renderings, AI-generated or synthetic media (synthetic CSAM), drawings, illustrations, and cartoons.
- Child Grooming: Any attempt to contact, communicate with, lure, or manipulate a minor for sexual purposes or to prepare sexual misconduct.
- Sextortion: Blackmailing, coercing, or threatening minors using real or purported intimate material, or coercing minors into producing or sending sexually explicit content.
- Commercial Sexual Exploitation & Child Trafficking: Any solicitation, advertising, recruitment, or facilitation of sexual acts, paid encounters, or transactions involving minors.
- Sexualization of Minors: Any suggestive, provocative, or sexualized representation or discussion of minors, regardless of explicit depiction.
2. Proactive Detection, Moderation, and Enforcement
To keep children safe and ensure prompt intervention, Vise employs a layered protection system:
- Proactive Screening & Hashing: Uploaded images and media are screened using automated perceptual hashing against recognized industrial databases of known abusive material, blocking dissemination before content reaches others.
- 24/7 Priority Triage: Reports involving suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation are routed directly into our moderation queue with top priority (P1) for urgent review.
- Immediate Content Removal & Account Ban: Confirmed CSAM/CSAE triggers immediate, permanent content removal. Perpetrator accounts are permanently terminated, and offending IP addresses and device identifiers are blacklisted.
- Forensic Evidence Preservation: In full compliance with applicable statutory obligations, forensic logs (metadata, IP records, timestamps) are preserved strictly for transmission to competent law enforcement agencies.
3. Reporting Mechanisms for Users
If you encounter any suspicious content, behavior, or contact involving minors on Vise, report it immediately through any of the following channels:
- In-App Report (Recommended): Tap the action menu (three dots
āÆ) on any post, profile, or message and select "Report" ā "Child Sexual Abuse / CSAE". This directly triggers an emergency review by our safety operations. - Direct Safety Email: You can reach our safety and child protection team directly at [email protected] (Subject: Urgent: Child Safety Concern).
4. Mandatory Reporting to Authorities & Law Enforcement
Vise cooperates actively with international law enforcement and child safety institutions:
- NCMEC CyberTipline: In accordance with statutory requirements and industry best practices, Vise immediately submits a detailed report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline for every detected instance of CSAM/CSAE.
- Law Enforcement Agencies: We provide full cooperation and handover of forensic evidence to relevant authorities, including the German Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), Europol, and the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board (PPA).
- Recognized Infolines: We collaborate with self-regulation and reporting bodies including jugendschutz.net and the INHOPE global network of hotlines.
