- An ad on your page or next to your post: the attention is yours — 100% of that ad counts for you.
- An ad between posts in the feed: it counts for the posts the person saw since the previous ad — the content that kept them here — split by how much each was actually looked at.
- Of what advertisers actually paid for those ads, 50% is yours. Removed content, undeclared advertising and bot traffic don't earn.
- We never record who saw an ad — only which content it appeared around.
How Vise compares
The big networks advertise high percentages — but only for ads inside a creator's own videos, and only past high thresholds. The ads in feeds, home pages and stories, which exist because people post, are not shared at all. (Public program terms as of 2025; they change often.)

Why we do this
Because social media should be democratic. A feed full of ads only works because people post — without their photos, songs and thoughts nobody would scroll, and no ad would be seen. So the people who create deserve half of what their attention earns: not just the ads inside a video, but the ads around their content too. It matters most for artists, musicians and small publishers who need a stable income, not a lottery ticket.
